Bracelet of the Day: Demoiselle Bracelet - Teal & Bronze

DEMOISELLE BRACELET
  • 11/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
  • 8/0 seed beads Miyuki "Dark Bronze" (457)
  • 6mm 2-hole cabochons "Alabaster #29436"
  • SuperDuo beads "Lustre Gold"
  • 3mm fire polished beads "Bronze"
  • 3mm fire polished beads "Halo Shadows"

Once again, today's bracelet is Sam Wescott's "Demoiselle Bracelet" made with 6mm 2-hole cabochons. The color might look very similar to the color I used HERE in yesterday's bracelet, but these are a slightly more greenish color that I'm calling teal. For some reason some of the 2-hole cabs weren't given color names by the distributor, only numbers. I took a close-up shot of the blue and the teal beads so that you can see the difference:

They're both beautiful, eye-catching colors. They're similar to the finish that's called "pastel" but rather than being sort of creamy and pearl-like, they have a powdery slightly metallic matte finish. I'm not all that keen on most of the pastel bead colors but I like these no-name "alabaster" colors very much. I got them from Red Panda and you'll find them at the very bottom of THIS page. I have all five of those colors and they're all pretty. Besides these two blues, I especially like the #29425 purple ones. I used the purple ones to make the bracelet that I blogged about HERE.

You can buy Samantha Wescott's pattern in her Etsy shop HERE.
