Bracelet of the Day: Demoiselle Bracelet - Blue & Gold

DEMOISELLE BRACELET
  • 11/0 seed beads Toho "Antique Bronze" (223)
  • 8/0 seed beads Toho "Antique Bronze" (223)
  • 6mm 2-hole cabochons "Alabaster #29434"
  • SuperDuo beads "Bronze Pale Gold"
  • 3mm Czech pearls "Antique Gold"
  • 3mm bicones "Light Topaz AB" (Chinese)

This time I thought I'd try using 6mm 2-hole cabochons even though the pattern calls for DiscDuo beads or Honeycomb beads. As you can see, the cabs work very nicely. I also used Toho seed beads this time so I only needed 16 of the cabs. I used 3mm Chinese bicones instead of fire polished beads down the center because the yellow/gold color goes well with the other beads. I don't know if Swarovski 3mm bicones will work though because they're very tiny and might fall through the gaps. I think that Swarovski 4mm bicones might be a little too big but I haven't tried either size. I love how the bicones look like sparkly little diamonds.

You can buy Samantha Wescott's pattern in her Etsy shop HERE. Red Panda has these blue 2-hole cabochons, HERE.

Regina Couture has finally put up a tutorial for sale in her Etsy shop for her popular CzechMate bracelet. Until now, she was only selling ready-to-wear jewelry but now she has a couple of tutorials available. I previously blogged about her bracelet design HERE and HERE.

  1. This looks so different to the ones you did yesterday but equally lovely. Thanks for the link to the other tutorial too.

    1. It is pretty amazing how different bracelets can look depending on the colors that are used.
